The EMTONE Treatment
EMTONE technology simultaneously delivers both thermal and mechanical energy. Emtone’s radiofrequency energy warms the skin to 108–111ºF, the temperature at which collagen undergoes structural changes that tighten existing collagen fibres and stimulate new collagen production, resulting in skin tightening and firming.
During your initial consultation we will devise an individual treatment plan based on your needs, buy typically this involve 4 treatments, scheduled once or twice a week. A treatment normally takes about 20 minutes depending on the treated area.
In terms of the treatment itself, the most common perception of the therapy is that it is similar to a hot stone massage with intense mechanical vibrations. The treatment is performed in a relaxing lying-down position. We apply a conductive lotion, to help the EMTONE handpiece move easily over your skin, and place a grounding pad on your back, to safely deliver the radiofrequency energy. We then glide the EMTONE handpiece over your skin, which will feel warm as the tissue temperature rises, but the continual movement of the handpiece and an automatic-shutoff safety feature ensures that it won’t become too hot or uncomfortable. You’ll also feel intense mechanical vibrations.
There is no downtime, and you will be able to resume normal activity immediately after the treatment.
